buckwheat flour diy squeeze noodles
@20190511
this is the flour prepared for making some squeeze noodles...
open up smell a bit pungent...
then were real lazy that juz use the original bag to mix water in...
of course it turns out didn't work...
should be needing a larger bag if wanna be lazy...
got some odd shaped pasta lol...
some dumplings formed that are large enough to be boiled...
after the dumplings are boiled...
looks like chewed gums lol...
n bcuz of the colour of the toasted buckwheat flour, they are juz ugly...
lazy juz let the rest of it be porridge...
coz it would be super time consuming to make the rest into some odd-shape dumplings...
knowing that misshapen clumps of flour can be boiled into dumplings is enough...
then...
sooooo lazy that it becomes a burnt porridge omg...
1. didn't realize it needed more water...
no water added even when its thickened...
2. after throwing in the flour never give it a stir...
didn't notice that starches stick at the bottom...
3. even when it smells a bit burnt n toasted still thought that it's the natural aroma of buckwheat...
half dumpling half porridge...
some dumplings are even not cooked...
got some dumplings cooked throughly
it's got a bit chewy but was not flavorful...
everthing is wrong...
it smells really burnt...
yet some flour are raw n uncooked...
raw flour taste makes me vomiting...
so burnt that I shouldn't have it...
though burnt but some are raw...
juz that the whole thing is off tasting...
juz try my best but cant continue...
dun wanna feel sick of it...
juz pour away this off smelling slurry...
btw it's too late...
n still got a big messy burnt pot to deal with...
after scraping off with a spoon still got those circles of burnt... what should I do...
even after hard cleaning work with some hot soap water still cant get rid of it...
give up on scrapping n juz give it a try on toothpaste...
then leave it for later...
finally get it cleaned the next day...
with the help of some vinegar n baking soda...
AND with great effort scrubbing...
no success n the experiment to be cont'd someday...
